34 Weeks

Ok, this pregnancy stuff is catching up with me and I’m getting super lazy with my blog posting. Sorry! I’m really trying not to neglect it. The above picture is not the only one from this week, but it’s the only one I like. 🙂

How far along? 34 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 25 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Well yes.

Stretch marks? Let’s not go there.

Sleep: Well I go to sleep, and I don’t wake up all night, but I’m still super tired the next day.

Best moment this week: Getting to see our pregnancy portraits and getting Lincoln’s comforter. I love them!

Movement: Yep

Food cravings: sweet stuff (grrr…not good)

Gender: Boy

Labor Signs: nope

Belly Button in or out? still in

What I miss: nothing at the moment

What I am looking forward to: pants without elastic!

Weekly Wisdom: No wisdom this week.

Baby’s Development:

Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she’s born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you’ve been nervous about preterm labor, you’ll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.” –babycenter.com
